Thank you very much for everything that you did to make Mum's passing so much easier to deal with. From the first phone call and collection of Mum from her home, we knew she was in good hands.Everyone has been so professional, kind and caring from start to finish. Thank you so much to Sandra for taking such good care of Mum whilst she rested with you, she looked beautiful, I felt she had known Mum for years. Also for taking all our calls/texts and for the tea and cuddles. Thank you to Grant and his extreme patience with the visual and Order of Service, is there no end to this man’s talents?! To Nikki for delivering such a beautiful eulogy, her patience and kindness was remarkable and unforgettable. To Jeff for driving us to the service and then to Mum’s ‘do’ afterwards and not forgetting his world-famous tea! You are all stars.The funeral itself was beautiful. The cars and all your staff looked wonderful. Mum's coffin looked radiant with all the flowers and is a sight I shall never forget. You all did a fantastic job throughout. Mum would have been thrilled with the whole service. She has been cared for wonderfully.We have no hesitation in recommending you to others - heartfelt thanks to you all - it was the best funeral we have ever been to!Best wishes to you all, Sally & Martin xxx

My brother has already left his own review for County Funerals, and even though he spoke for both of us, I felt that I had to leave my own as well.From the minute I phoned Grant to ask him to take care of our Mums funeral arrangements I felt that we, and our Mum, were in safe and caring hands.At the initial meeting at the office to make the arrangements, where we met the whole team, we were treated with patience when we struggled to decide on a coffin and consideration when we changed our mind about visiting Mum in the chapel of rest. Nothing was too much trouble.Nicky, our celebrant, guided us through planning the service for Mum and made the whole experience so much easier.On the day of the funeral we were able to drive past the house that Mum spent most of her life in, even stopping so my brother could join Grant walking in front of the hearse;, a lovely, thoughtful gesture.A last minute change to allow my brother to act as pallbearer was no problem and Grant’s discreet guidance and support were very much appreciated.The team at County Funerals helped us give our Mum a beautiful, fitting and respectful goodbye. It was a day that will always be remembered. Despite grey skies beforehand, the sun shone for the duration of Mums funeral. I wouldn’t be surprised if Grant had a hand in that as well!!Thank you so much for making a sad and difficult time a bit more bearable.

Thank you for the sensitive and considerate way that you handled all the arrangements for our Mum’s funeral.The memories we have of the day, while sad of course, are all good ones. Simple things such as the procession proceeding along the road Mum lived on for most of her lifetime were handled with both care and attention to detail. Flexibility on the day to allow members of the family to be involved in the procession past Mum’s house and swapping in pall bearer’s at the last minute were all done easily and with minimum fuss.The occasion was everything we wanted it to be for Mum and it was the perfect send off for her. Thank you to all the team at County Funerals for making that happen for us.

Absolute amazing company.The support Grant and his team have have shown our family over the past month cannot be faulted. No request to big or to small, everything explained in a kind and caring manner. Every little detail we wanted was made with love and care. Thank you all for making the hardest time for my dad and us daughters that much easier. Thank you for helping me on the day to carry my mum to her final resting place, the support and guidance was truly amazing.We called around all the funeral homes and this one was by far the warmest most caring company which is what we wanted. My Mum wasn’t just a number, she was treated with the dignity and care she deserves.so thank you all for everything you did for us xxx

Having used the services of County Funerals on a previous occasion, I had no hesitation in going back to them when my wife lost her battle with cancer.Once again, they exceeded my expectations, the ease in dealing with them in making the preparations, along with their advice was invaluable, and on the day everything went very smoothly - in fact the comments from some members of the family probably summed it up better than I could - the comment being “they really cared, it was almost as if they were part of the family”.Would I recommend County Funerals to my friends and family - without hesitation, thank you for making a stressful day a lot lot easier.
